When we started Sri Kalpataru Seva Trust in 2019, we had very little — a modest space, a handful of residents, and an unshakeable belief: that every elder, regardless of their circumstances, deserves to live with dignity, warmth, and love.
I have seen, with my own eyes, what happens when an elderly person feels forgotten. The loneliness in their eyes. The uncertainty about tomorrow. It broke my heart — and it gave me purpose.

Today, the lifestyle and employment pressures of younger generations make it hard for families to give their elders the full-time attention they need. We do not judge. We understand. That is exactly why Kalpataru exists.
Our team works round the clock — not because it is a job, but because it is a calling. We conduct psychological programmes, celebrate festivals together, and ensure each resident wakes up to someone genuinely happy to see them.
We are growing — and we need your support. Whether you donate ₹500 or ₹50,000, whether you volunteer for a day — every act of kindness reaches our elders directly.
